Churches with Autistic Persons in Leadership

Gunpowder Baptist Church – Freeland, MD. Pastor Jim McCaffrey has established a disability ministry and works with organizations in the community to help serve those who are disabled. He also serves on the board of the Banquet Network.

Tri-Cities Church – East Point, GA.  Dr. Lamar Hardwick is the lead pastor. He has a new book out, “Disability and the Church: A Vision for Diversity and Inclusion.” Dr. Hardwick spoke at length with us about the book for our April 2021 Accessible Faith Initiative Webinar.
