I get excited about every door of opportunity that God opens for the Autism Faith Network. I’m especially excited about this latest opportunity to share our message!

On April 30th, I participated in a podcast interview with Kit Kennedy. It was a great way to end Autism Awareness Month! Kit has a podcast called, “Unchurchable,” which focuses on things that make church attendance difficult for some people.

My conversation with Kit was about autism, faith and inclusion. Some of the issues discussed included:

  • The origin of the Autism Faith Network
  • Faith healing and the impact on special needs families
  • Tips for churches that desire to be more welcoming for those with autism and their families

Access to church for the disabled is a global issue. Kit lives in Australia. It is interesting to see how these issues are being addressed in different countries.

I encourage you to take some time and listen to our discussion. It will take about 30 minutes of your time. You’ll hear my heart about these topics and learn why I’m so passionate about this!

Feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think. Also, please share this post, especially with those who are in leadership at their church!

A special thank you goes out to Kit for being willing to share our story on an international platform! We wish her all the best!
